Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution and have completed a mandatory 12-month internship. 

The BDS curriculum includes subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Oral Pathology, and various clinical dental specialties.

A minimum of 50% marks in the BDS degree is typically required for eligibility. 

Candidates must be at least 20 years old at the time of admission.
